#Slickgrid responsive resize window manual
In Manual mode, responsive resize can be fine-tuned by pinning elements to. All you need to do is resize the group of elements or artboard. Var rowH = (options.rowHeight != null ? options.rowHeight : 25) // If no rowHeight is specified, use the default size 25 (could be set by CSS) In Auto-mode Responsive Resize will predict the placement of elements based on relative positioning on the canvas, automatically resizing elements, and repositioning them for a larger or smaller design. Calculate the height of the Div by adding the values of the header row height and the row height * # rows For manipulating vertical position of the control: Similarly if we want our control to always maintain a distance L from vertical starting point of our application window such that L is some percentage of appwinHeight (i.e 1/3rd of appwinHeight) then our control’s Y-axis starting point. GridWidth += 80 // Pick an arbitrary default width (could replace with CSS property) If( faultColumnWidth = null ) // If default also does not exist Manual: lets you set manual constraints available in the Property Inspector. Select the following responsive resize options: Auto: automatically uses constraints to resize the artboard. If the column width is not specified, or is zero, try to use the default column width In the Property Inspector, select the toggle button to switch on responsive resize. If( columns.width != null & columns.width != 0 )

If you want to use paging, you can auto-adjust the height of the table as follows (be sure to do this BEFORE rendering the data): // Determine the total width of the grid div element Unfortunately, autoHeight and paging cannot be used together. However if your grid has a lot of columns then doing a fit to viewport is not exactly great, you have lot of columns a few of these columns will become too small (we strongly suggest adding minWidth to every column) and youll start seeing ellipsis.
#Slickgrid responsive resize window software
I know it's software specific, but really hoping we have some slickGrid Guru's out there as this tool seems amazing! The default of Aurelia-Slickgrid is to fit all columns in the container viewport and for the most part that is a good resize to use and its fast. I've also had a lot of trouble with this topic on google also.

The documentation for slickgrid on gitHub ( ) is extremely limited (to be fair the author acknowledges this). I want the div to expand with the size of the grid it loads.

Currently it appears that the div size must be set statically? If I don't set values for the height of div "myGrid", it just sets it's height to 0. What I want is for my slickGrid to gather data, then have the div automatically resize to encompass the updated grid. If (value = null || value = undefined || !value.length) įor (var i = 0 i value2 ? 1 : -1)) * sign I have a HTML containing my slickGrid as follows: Īdding basic keyboard navigation and editing I hope we have some users familiar with slickGrid seeing as how StackOverflow uses it also :)
